January 7, 2007 we begin our 40 day prayer journey in which all members of the congregation will pray together each day for the next 40 days on the same theme each week. To aid in this journey we have put together prayer journey materials for all ages. For Senior High youth through adults there is a booklet that provides selections for each of the 40 days to help lead each individual into prayer. For youth in 2nd through 8th grade, bookmarks will be distributed each week. The bookmarks contain a prayer to say each day, and a place to mark off the days of the prayer journey. For children in 1st grade and under, Prayer Calendars will provide a prayer for each week and a location to place a sticker for each day of the prayer journey. We are very excited to have our entire congregation praying together everyday during this 40 day journey. And look forward to seeing the power of prayer at work within our congregation.
