Reverend Mitchell Watney
Mitch grew up in Portland, Oregon and attended Whitworth College in Spokane, graduating with a degree in the History of Philosophy. He graduated from Luther Seminary, in St Paul, MN, with a Masters of Divinity. He has served congregations in Oregon over the last twenty years including 10 years on the Oregon coast in Newport. Mitch recently moved to Seattle and married his sweetheart and best gift from God, Shannon Anderson, who is also a Lutheran Pastor.
Pastor Mitch enjoys involving himself in community through community theatre, service groups such as Rotary, and support activities such as the YMCA. His outside interests include sailing, hiking, traveling, photography, music and singing. Mitch and Shannon have two dogs and more plumb trees than they can count.
